*Residence in Jacksonville or the Florida panhandle and a current Florida RN licensure is expected.
The Director of Infection Prevention will oversee infection control programs and compliance across hospitals in Pensacola, Destin, Panama City, Port St. Joe, and the Jacksonville area—driving safe, high-quality care across all sites.

Responsibilities
Direct the surveillance, remediation and reporting of infections across the organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop program goals, plans and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, regulatory/legal and ethical requirements and objectives of the organization.
+ Provide expert consultation for the implementation of infection prevention and control initiatives.
+ Promote collaborative work to optimize processes to mitigate any infection risk.
+ Support the work on standardizing policies and procedures to prevent/control the transmission of infectious agents to patients and associates based on best practices.
+ Support preparedness related to emerging pathogens (eg pandemic influenza preparedness, new pathogens of significance).
+ Provide technical expertise for the development of surveillance and epidemiologic model requirements for electronic infection control surveillance.
+ Serve as the content expert for analytics as it relates to healthcare associated infection measures and other infection control data.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Certification specializing in Infection Control credentialed from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
+ Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing preferred.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences
+ Minimum 5 years experience in Infection Prevention
+ Minimum 2 years experience as Infection Prevention leader/manager or above
+ Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop current leaders while promoting collaboration and cultural alignment across the market.
