The Opportunity
Our Plymouth, MN location has an exciting opening for a **Senior Manufacturing Engineer** in Abbott’s **Electrophysiology (EP) business** . We’re transforming the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough technologies that help restore health and improve lives—making a real difference for patients worldwide.
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in **optimizing and improving manufacturing processes** to ensure quality, efficiency, and reliability. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge medical technology while driving impactful improvements on the production floor.
**Shift:** 2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday | Approximately 3:30 PM – 2:30 AM
_(Exact times may vary slightly to align with other shift schedules.)_
What You’ll Do
+ **Lead process improvements** to enhance productivity, quality, and throughput.
+ **Support production teams** by troubleshooting equipment and resolving line-down issues quickly.
+ Apply **Lean and Six Sigma tools** (DMAIC, A3, SPC, Cp/Cpk, Gage R&R) to drive measurable improvements.
+ Own projects within **Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost priorities** , including CAPA initiatives.
+ Maintain and manage production status and performance metrics for assigned lines.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions.
+ Develop and update manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance and clarity.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical, or related engineering field.
+ Minimum **3 years of manufacturing engineering experience** .
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
+ Experience with PowerBI and electronics manufacturing.
+ Background in regulated manufacturing environments.

The base pay for this position is $75,300.00 – $150,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
