    Brief Description of Department

     

    RTX Raytheon Real Estate Services has an opening for a Facilities Lead Control Technician at the McKinney, TX site.

    What You Will do:

    Candidate will ensure operation of mechanical and electronic equipment by completing maintenance requirements on HVAC, exhaust, humidifiers, motors, VFDs, pneumatics and other Facilities equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications; for troubleshooting malfunctions.

     

    Candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including installation, repair and maintenance of Facilities controls related equipment. This role ensures compliance with safety standards and supports preventative maintenance programs as well as execution of projects, all aimed at achieving the sites operational goals and business objectives.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    + This position typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience gained in commercial or industrial setting servicing, repairing and programming environmental-control systems associated with mechanical and HVAC systems . In the absence of a degree at least 10 years relevant experience may be considered

    + A thorough understanding of mechanical systems that provide environmental control for cleanrooms, labs and other production-related spaces.

    + At least 8 years experience troubleshooting and programming experience with INET and DELTA controls systems, to include graphics and database creation and modification.

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    + Strong organizational skills and experience managing small projects.

    + Ability to work in compliance with OSHA and RTX safety policies and procedures.

    + Certificates for HVAC related skills.

    + Familiarity with MS Office.

    + Ability to work from manuals, blueprints, layouts, wiring diagrams or other specifications to provide support and assistance to technicians/colleagues for various tasks as needed.

    + Ability to communicate professionally, both orally and written, with customers as needed to relay information regarding current issues and status.

    The salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
