Kelly is seeking a New Product Development Project Specialist to work with our client, a global consumer product manufacturer, on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team that brings products to life, ensuring every operational and supply chain piece comes together smoothly and on time.

The New Product Development Project Specialist will:

+ Lead new product launches through the stage gate process, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables to get products successfully to market

+ Own the end-to-end operational readiness of each project, including bill of materials setup, cost validation, supply planning, and production trials

+ Coordinate across functions (packaging, R&D, marketing, supply chain, quality, procurement) to keep everyone aligned and moving toward key launch milestones

+ Identify and resolve issues early, driving decisions and adjustments to keep launches on track for timing, cost, and quality

+ Apply supply chain best practices around minimum order quantities, inventory builds, and excess/obsolete reduction to optimize launch execution

+ Support lifecycle management, helping phase in new SKUs and phase out discontinued ones while maintaining smooth market transitions

+ Ensure compliance with GMP and company policies throughout the launch process

    Qualifications:

+ Prior experience in supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, or operations — ideally within a consumer products or similar fast-moving industry

+ Experience managing or coordinating cross-functional projects from development through production or launch

+ Experience in the beauty or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is a plus, but not required

+ PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus

+ Strong project management skills — able to juggle multiple launches and stay on top of details, timelines, and deliverables

+ Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills

+ Highly organized and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and the confidence to raise issues early and drive decisions

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, visible role where priorities can shift quickly

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with MS Project is a plus

+ SAP or other ERP experience is helpful but not required

This is an urgent need! If qualified and interested, please apply to this posting ASAP or directly send your resume to [email protected].
