    Duration: 12 months contract

    Job Description:

    + We are seeking an experienced Assembler to build, test, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies used across multiple product lines.

    + This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, ESD and PCB handling experience, and the ability to follow complex documentation to complete full system builds from start to finish.

    + You will collaborate closely with technicians and engineers, contribute to continuous improvement, and support production ramp-up efforts.

    Responsibilities:

    Assembly & Production

    + Build mechanical, electrical, optical, and electro-optical assemblies and subassemblies following detailed documentation.

    + Perform optical alignment, calibration, and basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Execute full system builds from start to final test, including certification and documentation.

    + Add upgrades or hardware changes and configure systems using proprietary software settings.

    + Conduct component inspection and assist with routine inventory control.

    + Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety/ESD standards.

    Troubleshooting & Quality

    + Diagnose assemblies that fail testing and document troubleshooting steps.

    + Contribute to the creation and updates of troubleshooting guides.

    + Work with Technicians for technical reviews and final system sign-off.

    + Report issues clearly and support problem-solving efforts.

    Collaboration & Process Improvement

    + Partner with Engineers to resolve component or procedure-related issues.

    + Participate in continuous improvement of assembly processes and documentation.

    + Support shifting priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

    Experience:

    + Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing assembly experience (5–6 years preferred).

    + Experience with optics, electro-optics, PCB assembly, and ESD practices.

    + Ability to read and follow detailed assembly documentation thoroughly.

    + Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

    + Ability to work both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.

    + High attention to detail — perfectionists strongly encouraged.

    + Strong computer proficiency (email, file management, navigation; familiarity with Novia a plus).

    + Excellent attendance and reliability.

    Skills:

    + Hand/Power Tools

    Education:

    + High school diploma or GED required or technical certification or vocational training in Electronics, Electro-Optics, Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
