Job overview and responsibilities
The Senior Manager Warehousing & Distribution and WMS leads a 24/7 operation that ensures government regulations are adhered to in the handling of all aircraft-related parts and materials in accordance with applicable FAR’s, CFR’s and international regulatory agencies. Senior Manager is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse maintenance system (WMS) roll-out; the Provisioning operations for stations under direct supervision; and achievement of performance metrics related to service levels and quality. Senior Manager may be responsible for multiple stations.
+ Leads all aspects of WMS implementation at stations under direct supervision (from business readiness to training and change management)
+ Responsible for warehousing design, optimization, inventory accuracy and control related to WMS
+ Partners with other stations and central team in WMS roll-out and adoption
+ Directs all logistical functions related to distribution of aircraft parts and provisioning Manages Company’s assets to ensure safe flight operations and safe distribution practices
+ Partners with Asset Verification team in the count and verification of assets to ensure accuracy and meet targets
+ Oversee cost center expenses to meet the financial plan
+ Provides employee developmental opportunities through coaching, mentoring, training, special assignments and leading cross departmental initiatives
+ Promotes continuous improvement within the organization and supports the development of certified Lean Six Sigma employees
+ Supports the daily operation at respective stations by engaging with internal and external customers
+ Enables the organization to support new customer needs
+ Proactively supports strategic initiatives to meet organizational and corporate objectives
+ Sets operational goals with senior leadership determined by strategic direction
+ Analyzes data and evaluates performance issues
+ Implements appropriate corrective actions to meet goals
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
+ BA/BS Degree
+ Three (3) years of experience managing a global supply chain/logistics organization, or similar management or leadership experience
+ Comprehensive understanding of material logistics and supply chain management
+ Able to lead and direct a multidisciplinary team
+ Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
+ Self-motivated and engrained continuous improvement experience
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

+ MS Degree
+ Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
+ Experience managing a unionized workforce
+ Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies
The base pay range for this role is $124,735.00 to $162,388.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
