The nation's leading local health department seeks a Salesforce Developer join its award-winning, innovative technology team in revolutionizing public health IT.
Position Description:
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing new Salesforce solutions and enhancements to existing systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements
and translate them into technical solutions that meet business needs.
Duties will include but not limited to
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Customize and configure Salesforce applications to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides.
Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and implement improvements as necessary.
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
Preferred Skills:
3 years of experience performing customizations and configurations on CRM platforms
At least 5 years of experience developing web applications in C# using MVC, XML, and creating and consuming WCF/REST services/WebAPI.
3 years of experience developing .NET plugins using C# and writing JavaScript for customizations.
At least 3 years of experience with .NET Framework 3.5 or higher and IIS 7.5 or higher.
At least 5 years of experience writing complex queries in T-SQL.
At least 3 years of experience developing reports using SSRS.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives within timeline.
Experience working with City of New York agencies is a plus but not mandatory.

COMPUTER ASSOC (SOFTWARE) - 13631
Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in computer science or a related computer field and one year of satisfactory full-time computer software experience in computer systems development and analysis, applications programming, database administration, maintenance and support, systems programming, data communications, mainframe development, mobile development, web development and design; or
2. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and five years of satisfactory full-time computer software experience as described in "1" above; or
3. Education and or/or experience equivalent to "1" or "2" above. College education may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience in "2" above on the basis that 60 semester credits from an accredited college is equated to one year of experience. In addition, 24 semester credits from an accredited college or graduate school in computer science or a related field, or a certificate of at least 625 hours in computer programming from an accredited technical school (post high school), may be substituted for one year of experience. However, all candidates must have at least a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and at least one year of satisfactory full-time experience as described in "1" above.
