Receptionist Officer

**Location:** Bedford, MA

**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

**Pay Rate:** $20.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Customer Service

+ Greet and assist visitors, employees, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.

+ Manage visitor check-ins, issue badges, and maintain accurate visitor logs.

+ Answer and route phone calls, emails, and general inquiries.

+ Provide directions, information, and support to guests.

+ Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Security & Access Control

+ Monitor access to the facility, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter.

+ Verify identification and enforce security protocols.

+ Conduct routine security checks of entryways, lobby areas, and surrounding premises.

+ Monitor security cameras and alarm systems and report unusual or suspicious activity.

+ Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or security concerns following established procedures.

Administrative Support

+ Maintain daily activity reports and incident logs.

+ Assist with scheduling, deliveries, and administrative tasks as needed.

+ Coordinate with the security team, building management, or emergency responders when necessary.

+ Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent (required).

+ Prior experience in security, front desk operations, or customer service preferred.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

+ Basic computer proficiency (email, visitor management systems, MS Office).

+ Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and respond quickly in an emergency.
