    + GENERAL DESCRIPTION

    + The LPN provides nursing care in accordance with departmental and BCHC policies and procedures. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of resident care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing resident care and assisting others in the management of resident care.

    + EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

    + Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.

    + Current licensure as an LPN in the State of Iowa.

    + WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    + BLS within 6 months of hire.

    + Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others. Maintains commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement.

    + Excellent team player and communication skills required.
