Description:

Responsible for all Internal Hospital discharge orders. Delivery of equipment to room, confirming Insurance, obtaining prior authorization, scanning paperwork back into EMR.

This is an in-person position located at Trinity Health Grand Rapids.

Position Summary:

The Billing Representative is involved in the billing of private insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid.

What Billing Representative will need:

+ High School diploma or equivalent required.

+ Minimum of one (1) year of data entry experience.

+ Excellent communication and customer relations skills.

+ Ability to work under stress to accomplish deadlines.

+ Detail oriented.

What Billing Representative will do:

+ Answers incoming calls from Referrals and customers placing orders.

+ Primary duties will be DATA Entry, Insurance verifications, and Prior Authorizations.

+ Obtains insurance authorization and recertification as needed.
