12 Hour Night Shift
Description:
* Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the
patient s needs.
* Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.
* Demonstrates the ability to identify high priority patients to the triage nurse, based on
pre determined criteria.
* Monitors the waiting room and identifies patient in need for re-assessment by the triage
nurse, based on pre determined criteria.
* Recognizes and responds to monitor alarms and/or changes in patient cardiac rhythm, and
assures that RN or charge nurse is notified and aware.
Minimum Qualifications:
* HS Diploma or GED from an accredited school is required
* Certificate from Paramedic School is required.
* Willingness to cross train as Unit Secretary
* Previous experience working as a Paramedic is required. Experience with starting IVs is
necessary.
Licensures/Certifications:
* Paramedic License required.
* ACLS, BLS, PALS required
