    CNC Programmer I - Panels

     

    TheCNC Programmer Idevelops (3 & 4-axis) NC programs and NC programs utilizing CAD/CAM programs for profiling metallic and non-metallic structural core materials and sub-assemblies for various aircraft applications and panel applications.

     

    Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 4:00PM

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Create and or modify CNC programs for 3-axis and 4-axis machining centers.

    + Analyze job orders, drawings, specifications, and design data to calculate tool selection and machining speeds and feed rates.

    + Design and define machining fixtures.

    + Prototype and ensure the quality of first article parts.

    + Set-up and operate 3-axis and 4 axis machining centers.

    + Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.

    + Prepare work instructions and maintain accurate records.

    + Assist with operator training programs.

    + Facilitate CI process.

    + Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

    + Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.

    + Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Three to fiveyears progressively more responsible experience

    + Extensive technical or specialized knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired in the first two years of college, technical school, or business school.

    + Programming experience with mills and/or routers is preferred.

    + Strong attention to detail

    Additional Requirements:

    + Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
