Description:
PRN (Hours Vary) 8 HR Day Shift Waterloo Medical Center
Provides occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to patients to facilitate and maximize functioning level as prescribed by physician. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Administers treatment techniques competently.
+ Conducts patient assessment.
+ Develops treatment plans for patients.
+ Communicates relevant patient information.
+ Provides education to patients and families.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** 1.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, Master’s preferred.
+ No prior experience required.
+ Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Iowa (if waiting to take the examination for the first time, may practice with a Temporary License under the supervision of an Iowalicensed OT for a period not to exceed 6 months from the date the application was received in the board office for licensure by examination).
