    Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Helper to join their team. As a Packaging Helper, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to efficient packaging operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** General Helper - Packaging

    **Location:** Bohemia, NY

    **Shifts & Pay:** 1st Shift: Monday- Friday, 7AM-3:30PM - $18.25/hour

     

    2nd Shift: Monday- Friday, 3PM - 11:30PM - $19.75/hour

     

    3rd Shift: Sunday, Thursday, 11PM- 7:30AM - $21.25/hour

     

    **Duration** : 3 months

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Support the team to maintain adequate supplies of materials for the assigned run

    + Ensure materials are replenished to prevent shortages and promptly report low levels of materials, damage or inconsistencies to the support team

    + Assemble and fold cardboard components for packaging

    + Carefully arrange products into cardboard trays and stack them onto pallets

    + Wrap products, trays, and cartons with plastic to ensure proper protection and stability

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 0-1 years of packaging experience in a factory environment

    + High school diploma or GED preferred

    + Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

    + Ability to speak, read, write in English and comprehend simple instructions
