Our banking client is seeking a dedicated and strategic Technical Business Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Business Manager, you will be an integral part of the Technology Department supporting executive leadership and cross-functional teams across the IT organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to strategic planning and operational excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.

This is a potential "contract to hire" opportunity with a grown IT group

What's the Job?

+ Support executive leadership in daily operations and strategic planning of the technology function.

+ Prepare, track, and manage strategic initiatives, OKRs, and departmental goals.

+ Build and maintain high-quality dashboards, business updates, and decision-support decks for senior stakeholders.

+ Manage budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning in partnership with Finance and HR.

+ Oversee key technology programs and projects, ensuring milestones and risks are tracked and reported effectively.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

+ 8+ years of experience in a technical business management, COO office, or business analyst role within a technology or financial organization.

+ Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and operating in fast-paced environments.

+ Deep expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data visualization skills.

+ Familiarity with Agile/DevOps environments, technology governance, and strategic project management.
