Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Python Developer (Jersey City) to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Python Developer (Jersey City), you will be part of the Technology Department supporting the Global Markets CFO Group. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Senior Python Developer (Jersey City)

**Location:** Jersey City, NJ (3 days onsite)

What's the Job?

+ Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications supporting the Independent Price Verification (IPV) process for the Global Markets business.

+ Build data transfer tools to replicate data from NoSQL datastores to Oracle (Exadata) databases.

+ Develop and implement RESTful web services and interfaces between UI and REST services.

+ Create data-grid-centric UI using the Angular framework.

+ Participate fully in Agile development processes, including pair programming and daily stand-ups.

What's Needed?

+ 6–10 years of overall technology experience with a focus on object-oriented development (Java, C++, C#).

+ 3–5 years of Python development experience.

+ Strong experience in SQL database design and tuning.

+ Familiarity with Git, npm, and Angular (15.x or later).

+ Experience with grid computing and handling high data volumes.
