Forklift Operator 2nd Shift $21.00 Hourly
Blue/Gold Schedule Structure
Compliance
Background- 7 year
Drug Test- 5 Panel Oral
Background Review
Any previous DUI (Disqualify for Clamp Operator)
Misdemeanor are OK if outside of 5 years.
• Each employee needs to wear a safety vest while on the floor.
• The required PPE, Safety goggles and gloves are available for changing propane tanks, request from your supervisor, when needed. STEEL TOE SHOES REQUIRED
• All employees should be able to physically lift 50 lbs.
• Unless certified by LX Pantos, you may not operate a forklift.
• Badges for entrance to the site should be brought everyday to work. Do not lose them, LX Pantos may need to charge for replacements, if they are lost.
• Halo Rule – do not come within 3 feet of a running machine or 6 feet of a moving machine.
• Only approved utility knives may be used on the floor.
• Seatbelts must be worn when operating a lift truck.
• Daily Checklists must be completed for the lift you are operating.
• Closed toe shoes must be worn on the floor.
Smoking
• LX Pantos is a smoke free environment.
• Smoking is only permitted 25 feet from the building.
Cell Phones
• Cell phones can interfere with safety and productivity and should never be on the warehouse floor unless you have been given permission for a specific event.
• Cell phones should only be used on break and lunch periods.
