Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is seeking a Janitor to join their team. As a Janitor you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting operational efficiency and maintenance excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong initiative, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Janitor

**Location:** Covington, GA

**Pay Range:** $17.66/hr

**Shift:** Days: 8am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

+ Perform housekeeping duties inside and on the grounds of the facility to ensure a clean and safe environment.

+ Document all cleaning activities following SOP guidelines to maintain compliance and quality standards.

+ Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and process supply orders as needed.

+ Operate floor scrubbers and some Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to support facility maintenance.

+ Assist in light general facility maintenance and become knowledgeable of other roles to support team needs during absences or urgency.

What's Needed?

+ High School Diploma or GED preferred.

+ Experience in general housekeeping and light maintenance is advantageous.

+ Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

+ Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, chemicals, and techniques.

+ Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a drive for efficiency.
