    Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Quality Assurance Technician

    **Location:** St Petersburg, FL

    **Pay Range:** $24.20-25.30

    **Shift: 2nd shift** 1:45pm-10pm or 3rd shift 9:45pm-6am

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Perform functional quality tests on materials accurately, efficiently, and within specified timeframes.

    + Record and report inspection results, failure analysis, material discrepancies, and defect data using SAP and other databases.

    + Conduct detailed visual inspections to assess product quality where limits may not be clearly defined.

    + Coordinate with production line technicians and supervisors when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or nonconformances are identified.

    + Make recommendations regarding the disposition of questionable products and support root cause failure analysis.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s Degree or relevant certification is preferred.

    + Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or quality environment.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.

    + Knowledge of quality inspection practices, techniques, and use of handheld gages.

    + Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
