As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial site, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.

+ Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as suspicious individuals, hazards, or unusual activity within the location.

+ Follow site-specific policies and procedures when performing access control duties.

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by addressing questions or concerns related to access control and site navigation.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, involving emergency response activities as needed.

+ Maintain accurate records of visitor and contractor access, as well as any incidents or irregularities observed during the shift.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas of the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ A minimum of two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience or a college degree is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A minimum of five years of security-related experience is required.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
