As a **Security Officer - Tech/Media Dispatch Desk** in **Sterling, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related communications and activities to help maintain a secure environment. Your role involves managing incident responses, supporting patrol teams, and providing critical information to help deter incidents. You will interact with staff and visitors, delivering excellent customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner at the location.

+ Monitor and manage communications for site operations, including dispatching officers as needed throughout the facility.

+ Maintain detailed logs and records of all dispatched activities and communications.

+ Coordinate with on-site staff and law enforcement agencies as necessary to support security-related operations.

+ Conduct checks of surveillance systems and access control points to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Communicate important information and updates to security-related personnel promptly and accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
