As a **Security Professional - Telecom Dispatch Operations** in **Sterling, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Monitor and manage incoming calls, alarms, and communications to coordinate security-related response and dispatch personnel as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating clearly with all relevant parties.

+ Maintain accurate logs and reports of all activities, incidents, and dispatches during the shift.

+ Operate and monitor access control systems, surveillance equipment, and other security-related technology to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Work collaboratively with on-site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as required by the situation.

+ Conduct regular status checks of security-related systems and equipment to confirm proper operation within the location.

+ Assist with the implementation of site-specific emergency protocols and provide information to clients and team members during incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
