As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by implementing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support operations at the retail location.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, observing for suspicious behavior or activities that may require intervention.

+ Document security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and incident responses.

+ Collaborate with store staff and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or assist with emergency response.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other disturbances within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Level III armed certification is required for roles in Texas only.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
