As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the premises. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail location in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.

+ Report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and to assist customers as needed within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Experience with customer service is preferred.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
