Description
We’re looking for an experienced, results-driven Paid Media Manager to support the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Paid Media team in the scoping, development, and launch of paid media campaigns. This person will understand the paid media landscape and have experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to build multi-channel digital programs that drive customer adoption. The Paid Media Manager will help build the paid media strategy, as well as, implement, optimize, and analyze campaigns. Ideal candidates are passionate about paid media programs, testing and learning, and driving efficiency through business processes. The role will collaborate with many functional teams in AWS including brand, integrated demand planning, finance, content studio, business intelligence, data science, digital strategy and others. The ideal candidate will be able to exercise strong judgement, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communications skills. Customer obsession, creativity, and comfort with ambiguity are essential to success in this role.
The successful candidate must be able to contribute to strategic thinking while performing tactical/detailed campaign execution while working independently. This role will require excellent written and oral communication skills, strong business judgment, deep curiosity about how AWS works, and a passion for customers.
Preference this role sits in Seattle but also open to any US-based AWS offices in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones. Relocation to one of these locations from within the US only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains the day-to-day management of paid media campaign operations, managing timelines and deliverables from development to deployment, and reporting.
- Monitors and prepares weekly and monthly reports for campaign pacing and performance.
- Contributes to and executes tests across campaigns/channels.
- Procures and analyzes paid media metrics and makes decisions/optimizations based on KPIs.
- Makes recommendations regarding how to most effectively engage customers within digital channels (e.g. cadence, frequency, etc.).
- Partners with agency partner to implement timely optimizations to drive results.
- Establishes and maintains scalable processes that ensure best practices for paid media, and internal reporting.
- Manages the maintenance of campaign/creative assets.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience delivering paid media campaigns spanning TV, print ads and digital/social channels
- Experience across affiliate marketing, PPC, SEM and social media advertising
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
