Basic Job Functions:

Taking Care of our Customers by completing quality, timely joist and deck estimates from plans and specifications. Organizing project documents and coordinating project requirements with customers, specifiers, contractors, and teammates. Assist in preparing comprehensive project quotes from estimates that will differentiate Vulcraft and win projects. Assist the post-sale team in delivering a successful project outcome through service and coordination. Maintain the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers. Be willing and able to work more than 40 hours per week. Be willing and able to travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in reading architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, along with a general understanding of the construction process or a college degree. Experience in Microsoft Office products.

Preferences:

Prior joist and deck estimating or detailing experience. Working knowledge of SAP, AutoCAD, Tekla, Bluebeam and/or other construction estimating software.
