Amazon Ads is seeking a self-driven, highly organized, customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to support the VP of Global Ad Sales. This high impact, high visibility role requires outstanding planning and communication skills. In addition to being an important partner to the Ad Sales leadership team, this role leads a global team of EAs and serves as an essential info resource and point-of-contact for Amazon Ads industry events and C-level customer engagements.
The right candidate will understand leader and team priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements that build capacity for the leadership team. A high degree of diplomacy, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information is essential, as is the ability to turn on a dime, thrive in ambiguous situations, and deliver high-quality results without knowing the whole picture. The right candidate will juggle competing priorities with excellent judgment, flexibility, and a positive team and service-oriented attitude. Impeccable attention to detail is required. Clear written and verbal communication is a must, as is a comprehensive understanding of the organization, leadership team structure, and business partner/stakeholder roles
As the lead EA of the Ad Sales organization, this role partners with the leadership team and their EAs to foster a process-driven, efficient, and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate must work successfully in a team environment, building effective relationships with peers, stakeholders, and partners inside and outside the group while maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of business objectives to support team goals and a thorough grasp of organizational procedures and best practices that drive operational efficiency.
This role requires five (5) days a week in office. Candidates should expect to travel 2-4 times per year.
Key job responsibilities
- Complex calendar management and coordination for high-level internal and external meetings
- Seamlessly manage detailed domestic and international travel itineraries, as well as expense reporting
- Manage team space planning and onsite morale/team building activities
- Partner closely with the leadership team, key business partners, and Sales team EAs to provide holistic support to the organization, including annual rhythm-of-the-business planning, and oversight of EA allocation, hiring, and onboarding best practices
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on action items
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with a variety of groups including peers, internal stakeholders, clients, advertising industry professionals
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of executive assistant experience
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience with C-level executive calendar management
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience effectively managing a substantial and time-sensitive workload
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing teams
- Experience working in a matrixed organization
- 10+ years of senior level leadership support experience
- Experience with end-to-end project management
- Experience working with large global teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
