As a **Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Team** in **Van Nuys, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role is essential in providing a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location, responding to situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and controlling visitor flow within the facility.

+ Observe for and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards, communicating findings to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support emergency response activities, including alerting first responders, guiding individuals, and following established protocols for healthcare environments.

+ Maintain accurate records and logs of security-related activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
