As a **Security Officer - Government Patrol Unarmed** in **Cleveland, OH** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and keen observation skills will support a secure environment, and you will be a visible point of contact for individuals on-site. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a government location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, utilizing problem-solving skills and following emergency response protocols when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.

+ Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as outlined by site procedures.

+ Work collaboratively with public and/or government personnel on site while maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

+ Remain alert to surroundings and adapt to varying environments and conditions specific to government facilities.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
