    Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of a **Transportation Specialist** in **Duncan, SC** .

     

    The **Transportation Specialist** will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The **Transportation Specialist** will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers. They will supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

    Specific Duties and Essential Functions

    + Transport, by use of a motor vehicle, mental health and/or substance abuse patients

    + Communicate effectively and coherently with hospital staff or patients with approved facility communication devices including the telephone system, intercom system, and portable or base radios;

    + Demonstrate effective communicative skills with detainees, public and hospital staff

    + Respects and protects patient confidence and hospital confidentiality by keeping all sensitive and patient information private.

    + Follows all protocols and procedures to ensure safe delivery of patients, their possessions, and supplies

    + Must possess a current driver’s license with no moving violations within the past three (3) years

    + Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

    + Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of service in public / private protective security or healthcare medical related fields

     

    Position Type: Part Time

     

    Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    Day** **Time

     

    Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

    What You’ll Do:

    + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

    + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

    + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

    + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

    + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

    + Availability across various days and shifts

    + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

    + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

    + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + CPR certification is preferred.

    + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
