Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

+ ***Must be available to work ALL SHIFTS AND ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK***

+ ***Required to cover for special projects, call offs, vacations and open shifts***

+ ***Must be able to travel in and up to 20 miles from the Harrisburg, PA area***

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.

+ Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the retail and mall premises.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.

+ Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access Control and Access Badge experience preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience preferred.

+ Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
