As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location. This position involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to those on site. This is a driving post, which requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business area and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for unusual activity or individuals and promptly report observations in accordance with established procedures.

+ Assist with access control by verifying the credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.

+ Document and communicate all security-related incidents, issues, and observations as directed by site protocols.

+ Work collaboratively with client staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns.

+ Remain alert to potential hazards and report any maintenance or potential issues encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
