As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a critical role in helping to create a secure environment at a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include performing regular patrols, remaining visible throughout the premises, and providing outstanding customer service to those you interact with. By maintaining a strong presence, you help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the government location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the assigned government property and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and reporting as necessary.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help control access and maintain authorized presence within the premises.

+ Report any security-related hazards, incidents, or suspicious behavior according to established protocols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and law enforcement as part of daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Being at least 21 years of age is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
