    **Title:** Software Engineer III

    **Job Location:** 301 West 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. Position requires in-office work three (3) days every week.

    **Job Description:** Participate in complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts. Collaborate closely with Technology staff in overall systems development, from technical requirements gathering to user acceptance testing. Follow and promote the use of development standards and procedures. Prepare thorough and clear technical and functional specifications and update systems documentation. Develop test cases and scripts based on requirements to ensure software quality. Recommend new technology practices to benefit the organization and address deficiencies. Participate in technical evaluations of vendor software. Maintain M&T internal control procedures and adhere to the company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the company's risk appetite. Complete other related duties as required, which may include playing a key role in due diligence, cost/benefit analysis, or business study activities. Participate in daily scrum ceremonies to track work across the Jira board.

    **Minimum requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related technical field plus five (5) years of experience as a Senior Java Developer, Application Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related technical field plus three (3) years of experience as a Senior Java Developer, Application Developer, or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience [or three (3) years of experience with a Maste􀀃s degree] in each of the following: Creating and integrating APls for banking or financial applications using Java and Spring Boot; Implementing Single-Sign On (SSO) to enable third-party productions and services using Angular, Developing and reviewing work completed by software engineers throughout the Software Development Lifecycle using Java. Spring Boot, JavaScript Object Notion (JSON), SOL, GitHub, Openshift. Eclipse/VS Code, Maven, lntelliJ, and Angular; Utilizing microservices design patterns; Requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Transitioning application code into production using DevOps; Defining work and establishing technical requirements using Jira and Agile; Using ServiceNow ticketing system for application support ticketing; and Developing API Management (APIM) policies.
