Reporting to the Regional Controller, the **Senior Accountant** will play a key role in overseeing general accounting operations, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring the accuracy of financial and management reporting. Responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing timely month-end reports. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency with financial systems. This role is essential to developing and maintaining efficient processes that ensure the timely and accurate production of financial statements and reports. The ideal candidate will also have experience mentoring and collaborating with junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
This position is part of the Finance team based in **Loveland, Colorado** , and will be **hybrid** .
In this role, a typical day will look like:
+ Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements and accounting reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
+ Analyze financial data and summarize overall performance to support informed decision-making.
+ Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile key accounts.
+ Identify discrepancies and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
+ Review and propose updates to accounting systems and procedures as needed.
+ Assist with the training, development, and performance support of accounting associates.
+ Contribute to the department’s goal-setting and process improvement initiatives.
+ Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
+ Plan, assign, and review the work of select accounting staff to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
+ Participate in and share responsibility for the month-end and year-end close processes.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
+ Ideally 5+ years of experience in a public accounting environment.
+ Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and systems.
+ Demonstrated business acumen with proven experience analyzing financial statements and reports.
+ Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
+ Familiarity with large-scale ERP systems, preferably Oracle (preferred).
+ Knowledge of and experience with Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) controls and compliance processes (preferred).

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 USD per year.
