    POSITION SUMMARY

    In alignment with the global strategy and business objectives of our client, a notable pharma company —this role supports the efficient and accurate global distribution of samples to both internal and external customers. These activities are critical for the evaluation of North American and Global Development studies that contribute to the registration and re-registration of BCS products.

    POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Process sample orders using Sample Logistics applications.

    + Prepare sample orders for shipment and attach the appropriate SDS(s).

    + Scan each sample order and its contents, package shipments according to IATA and/or DOT regulations, complete the shipping process, and file all shipping documents.

    + Assist with international shipments and communicate shipping details as needed.

    + Conduct and reconcile physical sample inventories (current, bulk, and GLP) in Sample Logistics applications and generate Excel-based inventory reports.

    + Receive packages for the Sample Logistics team and maintain accurate records for future reference.

    + Maintain the Certificate of Analysis archive for GLP samples.

    + Assist in overseeing the restricted GLP cage area, ensuring samples are secured and maintained in compliance with GLP regulations.

    + Sub-fill sample containers while adhering to all HSE, SDS, and site safety policies. Apply FIFRA research sample labels and stickers according to process orders, scan samples into the inventory, and complete process orders.

    + Identify questionable test substances based on appearance and consult the Sample Logistics Manager when necessary.

    + Maintain SDS filing for Sample Logistics inventory, retrieving SDS from the Global QHSE database or other manufacturers’/suppliers’ databases.

    + Maintain bulk inventory with proper labeling, scan to physical locations, and place containers on appropriate shelves.

    + Order, receive, and organize supplies for the Sample Logistics team.

    + Assist the Sample Logistics team with other duties as assigned.

    + Maintain compliance with all required IATA and DOT training.

    + Report any discrepancies with orders, system/application issues, or other concerns to the designated Sample Logistics representative.

    REQUIREMENTS / PREFERENCES

    Education Requirements:

    + Associate degree or equivalent with 0–3 years of related experience.

    + Preferred: Degree in a scientific field.

    Skill & Competency Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

    + Knowledge of safe chemical handling.

    + Knowledge of inventory maintenance practices.

    + High computer literacy.

    + Ability to work efficiently, effectively, and safely.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Preferences (Nice-to-Haves):

    + Experience in logistics.

    Determining Factors:

    + High integrity.

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Ability to think independently.

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
