Accountant

Our client, a manufacturing company in the Cookeville, TN area, is growing and adding a full-time Accountant to their team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and support month-end and year-end closing processes
+ Oversee AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, cash flow, general ledger, and filings.
+ Prepare profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
+ Track and analyze production costs, labor, materials, and overhead expenses, and investigate variances
+ Assist the controller and senior leadership with budgeting and forecasting.
+ Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory and cost accounting systems.
+ Lead audits to ensure all financial data and records are in compliance with legal requirements.
+ Meet with department leaders to provide financial information and support for their decisions.
+ Provide support for accounting functions across regional sites as needed
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field is preferred.
+ 5+ years of accounting experience preferred
+ Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S., as this client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
The Position Offers:
+ Annual salary in the $60k-80k range

**Pay Details:** $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
