    TITLE: Material Handler

    SHIFT: M-F, 2PM-10PM

    PAY: $ 17.85/hr

    Responsibilities for Material Handler jobs include but are not limited to:

    • Execute standard work with support from others on complex tasks.

    • Operate Value Stream workstation.

    • Issue, deliver, and move material to produce company products with a minimum of dependence.

    • Store materials in bins, in racks, or on shelves according to identifying information with a minimum dependence.

    • Operate material handling equipment such as powered industrial trucks, pallets jacks, etc., as trained, to assist in the issuing, storage, and movement of materials with a minimum of dependence.

    • Execute standard work with a good degree of quality and limited quality discrepancies, showing a trend of improvement.

    • Execute standard work efficiently with support from others on complex tasks.

    • Identifies problems in execution of standard work and requests help from others on resolution.

    Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Material Handler jobs:

    • High School degree or equivalent.

    • 0-2 years of Receiving and Shipping experience

    • Standing, Stooping, Kneeling, and Walking.

    • Occasional standing for long periods of time.

    • Lifting (regularly up to 50 lbs.)

    • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision and depth perception.

    • Frequent standing, lifting, and walking with up to 50 lbs.

    • Most work is completed at a work bench or station.

    • Ability to read and write in English.

    • Basic computer literacy using Microsoft Windows.

    • Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure).
