    Job Title: Construction AdministratorJob Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Construction Administrator to oversee various construction projects, ensuring they align with architectural plans and specifications. You will be responsible for evaluating construction documents, conducting site inspections, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and compliance with regulations.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with architectural plans and specifications.

    + Evaluate construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and constructability prior to bidding.

    + Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality, resolve field issues, and verify compliance with design intent.

    + Facilitate clear and timely communication among stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.

    + Review and respond to submittals, RFIs, and change orders; maintain accurate records of all correspondence and approvals.

    + Monitor construction costs and timelines; assist in negotiating change orders and managing pay applications.

    + Ensure adherence to building codes, zoning regulations, and contractual obligations.

    + Prepare final documentation, punch lists, and assist in project handover.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience in construction administration, particularly with K-12 Educational Projects.

    + Strong architectural background with experience in design development and construction drawings.

    + Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software such as SketchUp, Rhino, and BIM 360.

    + Excellent understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.

    + Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.

    + Experience in Public Work, Project Management, Higher Education.

    + Architectural Licensure (RA) is a plus but not required.
