    A global interior architecture firm located in Chicago is looking to add a Senior Designer to their team!

    Job Description:

    The Senior Designer is responsible for leading all design phases for interior projects, establishing the vision, leading the team, and maintaining extensive client interaction.

     

    + Develop overall design for projects

    + Direct staff to complete design and technical drawings

    + Review design and technical drawings of junior designers

    + Review engineering drawings to ensure compliance with design solutions

    + Research and select fixtures and finishes for projects

    + Produce, review, and finalize space plans for projects

    + Possess extensive knowledge of detailing and finalize details on projects

    + Develop and deliver overall design and furniture packages

    + Review and produce final cost estimates

    + Assist with support for field surveys in unusual circumstances

    + Manage overall design budget

    + Manage the work of other designers

    + Organize and conduct client interviews to determine space needs and requirements.

    Qualifications:

    + Graduate of Architecture or Design school

    + 8+ years’ experience in corporate interior design projects

    + Proficiency in space planning and furniture layout concepts

    + Expert sketching, rendering, and interior architecture detailing skills

    + Extensive knowledge of construction documents and contract administration

    + Advanced Revit and Adobe Creative Suite skills

    + Extensive presentation and graphic communication skills

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
