    Job Title: Controls Engineer

    We’re looking for a skilled Controls Engineer to design and deliver cutting-edge industrial control solutions. In this role, you’ll work closely with Sales and Engineering to create UL-508A approved control panels for industrial applications, including heaters, process controls, instrumentation, pumps, and motors—primarily leveraging PLCs and HMIs.

    What You’ll Do

    + Design & Innovate: Develop industrial control panels, select components, and create detailed schematics.

    + Ensure Compliance: Adhere to UL508A, NFPA 70, and NFPA 86 standards.

    + Collaborate: Partner with Sales to meet customer specifications and deliver tailored solutions.

    + Support & Lead: Provide fabrication assistance, startup support, and field service for equipment and controls.

    + Quality Focus: Create Bills of Materials and work with QC on testing procedures.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Experience: 10+ years in industrial PLC control panel design.

    + Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial controls.

    + Education: BSEE or equivalent hands-on training.

    + Skills: AutoCAD proficiency, electrical/mechanical aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail.

    + Mindset: A team player who thrives independently and can manage multiple projects.

    Bonus Points For

    + Familiarity with SIEMENS, Red Lion, and combustion systems.

    + PLC programming and automation experience.

    + Deep understanding of UL508A, NFPA 70, and NFPA 86 standards.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, CT.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
