What You’ll Do
+ Lead field survey operations across diverse project types including:
+ Boundary & ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys
+ Topographic & Construction Surveys
+ Right-of-Way Acquisition
+ Transmission Line & Gas Pipeline Surveys
+ Operate and train others on advanced equipment: RTK GPS, total stations, levels, and data collectors.
+ Perform construction stakeouts and conduct deed research as needed.
+ Ensure accuracy and efficiency through QA/QC of all fieldwork.
+ Collaborate with project managers and office staff to deliver high-quality results on time.
What You Bring
+ 10+ years of experience as a Survey Party Chief.
+ Expertise in land surveying techniques and equipment (GPS, Total Station, ALTA, Mapping).
+ Ability to work independently and lead field crews in a fast-paced environment.
+ Physical capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
+ Experience mentoring junior staff and training on equipment use.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CARY, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
