    We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee the first phase of a major multi-billion-dollar advanced technology development project in Syracuse, NY. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction activities in alignment with contract requirements and company standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide jobsite leadership and contribute to developing the project safety plan.

    + Develop project controls, procedures, and risk mitigation processes to meet contract requirements.

    + Establish and monitor change management processes and project financial forecasts.

    + Create and manage a project-specific quality assurance plan aligned with contract documents.

    + Develop and manage a closeout plan in alignment with contract requirements.

    + Motivate the project team, supervise work, and set operational priorities for superintendents and engineers.

    + Train direct reports on processes, procedures, and daily tasks.

    + Contribute to subcontracting strategy, write scopes, enforce contracts, and implement risk mitigation plans.

    + Create CPM schedules, perform monthly updates, and conduct constructability and coordination reviews.

    + Collaborate closely with business development to align with sales strategies and strengthen client and industry relationships.

    Essential Skills

    + 5-10 years of experience in construction management.

    + Proficiency in project management, change order management, RFI, and estimation.

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with developing and managing project controls and procedures.

    + Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals.

    + Strong skills in quality assurance, contract management, and risk mitigation.

    + Capability to conduct thorough scheduling and constructability reviews.

    Work Environment

    The role requires full-time on-site work in a field trailer environment at the Micron Site in Syracuse, NY. The project covers 680 acres as part of a multi-decade plan to expand domestic chip manufacturing. Initial construction activities include site grading, clearing and excavation, soil replacement, stormwater management, and security infrastructure installation. The workweek typically ranges from 40 to 50 hours.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
