The School of Applied Technologies invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach our "Statics and Strength of Materials" course during the Spring 2026 semester. We seek a dynamic, forward-thinking, and engaging instructor to join our team of dedicated educators.

The ideal candidate will have:

+ A strong background in mechanics and materials science

+ A passion for teaching and student success

+ The ability to deliver clear explanations and connect theory to practical, real-world applications relevant to construction and architectural studies

This course serves undergraduate students in Construction Management and Architectural Design and Building programs.

Teaching Responsibilities

+ Teach our Statics and Strength of Materials course for Spring 2026 (Theory and Laboratory).

+ Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and hands-on sessions.

+ Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

+ Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and attendance.

Job Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years. of professional experience within the field.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Professional engineer license

+ Master's degree in a related field with three years of professional experience in construction.

+ Seven or more years of professional experience in the construction field

+ Experience in teaching or working with young adults

+ Demonstrated ability to teach diverse populations

+ Understanding the value of civic engagement
