We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Test Engineer or Test Technician to join our team in supporting advanced space systems projects. This role involves performing electrical testing on spacecraft components to ensure compliance with aerospace standards, contributing to national security and next-generation space technology.
Responsibilities
+ Perform electrical testing and validation on spacecraft components, including imaging and sensor systems.
+ Conduct continuity, isolation, and insulation resistance checks to ensure compliance with stringent aerospace standards.
+ Execute functional and performance tests under simulated space conditions, such as thermal vacuum, vibration, and EMI/EMC environments.
+ Analyze test data, troubleshoot anomalies, and provide detailed documentation for qualification and acceptance.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system-level integration and mission readiness.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in electrical testing for aerospace or defense hardware.
+ Familiarity with space qualification standards (NASA, MIL-STD, ECSS).
+ Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and automated test systems.
+ Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and meet strict compliance requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with satellite payloads or imaging systems.
+ Knowledge of radiation-hard electronics and space environmental testing.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience with digital volt meters, Visicorder oscilloscopes, and automated test sequences.
+ Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
+ Experience performing benchtop testing of electronic assemblies using instruments like oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and function generators.
+ Knowledge of ESD-safe workstations and grounding methods.
+ Experience with test logs, discrepancy reports, or configuration management systems.
+ Strong technical capability and mechanical inclination.
+ Experience working in an aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.
+ Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.
+ Effective communication abilities and attention to detail.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Work Environment
The role is based in a cleanroom and office environment, working on cutting-edge technology projects. The position offers the potential for a direct role in the future, though it is not guaranteed. The work involves collaboration with industry-leading engineers and exposure to advanced technologies.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Littleton, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.00/hr.
