In the role of Sr. Architectural Project Manager, Health, you will play a crucial role in making a positive impact on the world through your work on significant projects.
Responsibilities
+ Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle, from development and initiation to close-out.
+ Manage all aspects of complex small to medium projects or routine large projects.
+ Produce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently.
+ Establish and maintain client relations, and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
+ Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with other staff and stakeholders.
+ Coordinate staffing and workload throughout the entire project lifecycle to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
+ Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort with the team to ensure completion within agreed budget and schedule.
+ Collaborate with Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
+ Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
+ Perform other duties as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
+ 12+ years of experience in architecture and project management.
+ Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
+ Registered Architect certification.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
+ Strong planning and mentoring skills.
+ Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED.
+ PMP certification.
+ Experience with drafting, engineering, project coordination, project controls, Revit, and architectural design.
+ Experience with healthcare buildings and hospitals, particularly children’s hospitals.
Work Environment
The position is based out of the DTR office and involves participation in one of the most anticipated projects in North Carolina. The role includes both office and onsite responsibilities. The project is a collaborative effort between two prestigious academic health systems to establish a new children’s health system in North Carolina, featuring the state’s first freestanding hospital dedicated to pediatric care. The work involves a hybrid schedule with a convenient office location and a dynamic, employee-owned firm culture.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $64.90/hr.
