Position Summary
Remote, with 1-2x per month daily visits to Louisville, KY office
TRANSMISSION -
The position is responsible for project management of the
engineering and design activities in the vertical related to assigned
functional area such as the performance of the planning, engineering, design,
and construction efforts in accordance with the plans. The project manager
also works with in-house and client engineers and designers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform medium to advanced-level
project management work activities and projects requiring the application of
project management knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient, and economic
accomplishment of assigned objectives.
• Develop, review, and coordinate
the project plan, schedule, budget, activities, materials, equipment, tools,
and staff.
• Assist in developing and scoping
documents, deliverables, and cost estimates.
• Assist in data gathering and
analysis for the reporting on the project progress, scheduled deliverables,
and budget.
• Identify, clarify, and make
recommendations for solutions to project plan deviations and work-related
problems with least impact and risk through analysis of reports and records;
evaluate multiple solutions and interpret the results of the technical analysis.
• Hold contractors accountable to
the system safety process.
• Provide recommendations as an
active participant of a project management team; communicate and coordinate
with customers and interconnected companies on issues.
• Support project management team
members: provide guidance and training, as assigned; review work of other
team members, as assigned.
• Utilize technical interfaces of
project management and provide technical support to team.
+ The role is based in a quiet engineering office environment with a business casual dress code. Teamwork is highly encouraged and frequently practiced.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $64.90 - $76.92/hr.
