    What you'll do

     

    This position is an integral part of NYCAMH Administration, reporting directly to the Director, with a“dotted line” to the Director of the Network Office of Grants Management (OGM). This person worksacross all departmental areas as required by project, to ensure all Network OGM policies and proceduresfor applying for and managing grants are followed as well as ensuring proper signoff. Additionally, thisindividual is responsible for the coordination and tracking of purchases/expenditures for NYCAMH. Thisposition is expected to serve as a resource for the department with respect to grant applications andbudget tracking to support overall strategies and goals.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Provides appropriate support to the Director, the Network Office of Grants Management, as well as NYCAMH Project Directors (PD) and Principal Investigators (PI) in fulfillment of their departmental responsibilities:• Monitors departmental business systems and makes recommendations for change as required.• Provides budgetary oversight for multiple cost centers (in coordination with Director/Deputy Director, NYCAMH Center Manager and OGM).• Signatory authority for travel requests, invoices, check requests• In coordination with OGM, assures regulatory requirements data are met and required data is submitted in a timely manner• Participates in and compiles analysis for new program development and new equipment acquisitions.• Works closely with the Director to assure cost effective, timely and quality systems and processes for monitoring multiple complex grant budgeting and expenditures, as measured by the on-time reporting and grant close- out planning.• Coordinates with NYCAMH PD/PI’s, in developing and submitting grant proposal applications.• In coordination with the NYCAMH Executive Assistant, organize, prepare, and submit program reports to Federal and State agencies as required.• This may include liaising with external grant writing consultants as needed.• Implements electronic submission of grant applications as needed.• Edits and organizes grant documents.• Maintains necessary records, files, reports, databases, and resource materials pertinent to Grants Office activities.• Closely works with the Finance Grant analyst to ensure expenses are charged to the appropriate funding source, etc.• Serve as system administrator for REDCap• Assist in managing specialty software licenses (e.g. EndNote and NVivo)• Bassett Liaison for external departments, especially the following• Office of Grants Management• Finance• AP/AR• Work closely with Center Manager to create and follow annual operating plan• Assists in creating/maintaining departmental grants management/finance policies.• Offers direct support in business management and design for all business systems across the Department.• In collaboration with OGM, creates and maintains databases to support real-time monitoring for all grants within NYCAMH.• Directly responsible for tracking and submitting grant applications for NYCAMH• Offers creative solutions to difficult issues in the department through the use of systems thinking.• Systematic tracking of timelines and budgets for internally and externally supported projects.• Supports the needs and policies of the department and the Institution.• Performs periodic reviews of our business practices to assure compliance with regulatory agencies.• Design / enhance and use databases to support department business initiatives.• Serves as a resource for all coordinators and PD/PI’s regarding business practice.• Responsible for overseeing the training of all new personnel on business processes.• This position will support the pre-award and post-award grant management process, which includes coaching PD/PI’s on process and ensuring that requirements are met.• Is proactive in supporting business analysis to provide decision support throughout the Department.• Actively supports budget design and development for the department assuring 100% on-time submission.• Serves on institutional committees as required and requested.• Generally, supports the leadership in the design and management of summary reports relating to grants budgets and spend-downs, business, charge management, equipment inventory and other ad hoc reports to support the business case for specific projects.• Supports the NYCAMH Center Manager with management of staff and others within the group; develops mutually agreed upon standards of performance; assures that staff performance appraisals are timely and accurately reflect job performance• In collaboration with the NYCAMH Center Manager, ensures that employees in the department possess or are developing the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their work.• Works with external partners and vendors to create contracts, works with staff to track deliverables and ensure invoices and payments are being submitted and processed according to schedule. Works with internal Bassett legal team to develop contract/scope of work language as necessary.• Performs similar or related duties as requested or directed• Performs other duties as requested and observed by the Director.

    What we need from you

    Education:

    Required

    + 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.

    + Prefferred - Master's Degree - Master's degree in business related field.

     

    Preferred

     

    + Minimum 2 years' experience organizing and managing complex systems and projects is required.

    + Minimum 2 years Grants Management experience is preferred.

    Work Type:

    Pay Range

     

    Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.

    Pay Range Minimum:

    USD $76,452.30/Yr.

    Pay Range Maximum:

    USD $114,678.44/Yr.
