Commercial Electrician – Journeyman Level

What You’ll Do

+ Install and run electrical wiring for commercial construction projects

+ Bend and install conduit systems with precision

+ Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on-site

+ Guide and train electrician helpers/apprentices to build their skills

+ Work closely with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery

What We’re Looking For

+ 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial electrical work

+ Strong skills in wire installation, conduit bending, and blueprint reading

+ Ability to work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards

+ Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities

+ Knowledge of electrical codes, compliance, and safety practices

Preferred Experience

+ Experience in industrial facilities, hotels, office buildings, and upscale residential projects

+ Familiarity with commercial lighting, power distribution, and control systems

+ Proven track record in electrical construction, retrofits, and system upgrades

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeview, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $36.00/hr.
