Description We are looking for a dedicated Credit Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves analyzing credit applications, managing commercial collections, and ensuring smooth credit approval processes. The position requires a strong understanding of credit reports and financial systems, making it ideal for candidates with prior experience in credit-related roles.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate credit applications and analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness.

• Monitor and release credit holds based on established guidelines.

• Review and interpret Dun & Bradstreet reports to assess risk and inform decisions.

• Manage commercial collections to ensure timely payments and minimize outstanding balances.

• Approve credit limits in alignment with company policies and procedures.

• Utilize SAP software to manage and process credit-related transactions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address credit issues and resolve disputes effectively.

• Maintain accurate records of credit approvals, collections, and other related activities.

• Provide detailed reports and insights to support decision-making processes.

• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations regarding credit management. Requirements • Proven experience in credit analysis or related roles, preferably in commercial settings.

• Familiarity with Dun & Bradstreet reporting tools and methodologies.

• Proficiency in managing credit applications and collections processes.

• Strong knowledge of SAP software for credit and financial management.

• Excellent analytical skills to assess financial data and evaluate risk.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.

• Attention to detail and organizational abilities for maintaining accurate records.

• Understanding of industry standards and regulations in credit and collections.
